 Volunteer Positions

  Sorting Room Volunteer
•Sort & pack clothing in seasonal boxes
•Place clothing on hangers for thrift store
•Tag and label clothing by sizes

  Pantry Helper
•Prepare food bags for food pick-up.
•Sweep & mop floors (when needed)
•Stock shelves
•Put away food donations
•Remove trash (when needed)
•FRIDAYS ONLY- Assist with filling client food carts in pantry.

  Holiday/Special Event Volunteers
•Assist in collecting donations for holiday events/special events
•Package and hand out food baskets for holidays
•Serve/assist at annual community Thanksgiving dinner
•Help assist parents at our Christmas toy give-away

  Maintenance Volunteer (on call position)
•Assist in any maintenance that may need to be done around the building, such as…
minor building repairs, snow removal, painting, etc…

  Housekeeping Volunteer (general housekeeping)
•Clean bathrooms
•Sweep, vacuum & mop store floors
•Clean windows

  Driver Volunteer (MUST have valid driver’s license and clean driving record)
•Drive company van and pick up food from a various local grocery stores. (must be able to lift frozen meat boxes)
•Load/unload cardboard and drive company van to local dump.
